The landslide was triggered by continuous heavy rainfall in the region, leading to the collapse of a portion of a hillside. The affected area experienced significant destruction, with several homes being buried under the debris.Rescue operations were immediately initiated by local authorities, including the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), to search for survivors and recover the bodies. The challenging terrain and ongoing adverse weather conditions have hampered the rescue efforts, making the situation even more dire.
