ACCIONA and Australia’s Deakin University are proud to be working together to build the next engineering marvel powered by the sun and participate in the 2021 World Solar Challenge. The project will bring Deakin’s best and brightest students and academics together with ACCIONA’s personnel and resources to design and build a solar vehicle capable of competing at the highest levels.
This is not our first 0 emission defiance, and some of our other notable challenges include:
ACCIONA Windpowered Expedition: 3500 km, 34 days, 3 scientific experiments, 150 km/h and 0 emissions.
- ACCIONA Vendée Globe: 3 oceans, 85 days, 26.000 nautical miles, a solitary journey without assistance, non-stop and 0 emissions.
- ACCIONA 100% Ecopowered: First 0 emissions car to finish the Dakar Race and complete the 2018 Finke Desert Race
