Protecta® FR Collars are engineered to preserve the fire resistance integrity of fire-rated walls and floors penetrated by service installations. These collars can be applied to drywalls, timber, masonry, or concrete structures.

Each collar features a circular steel shell, available in white or red, which is designed to split in two for easy installation around service penetrations using a straightforward 'slide-lock' system. The shell is filled with a graphite-based reactive material that activates under heat from a fire, sealing the openings created by melting or softening combustible materials.
