Goldie Wolofsky-Eskenazi and Jack Wolofsky, grandchildren of Hirsch Wolofsky, publisher of the Keneder Adler, Canada's Yiddish Newspaper, talk about their childhoods in Montreal during the 1930s and 40s. This interview was done with Michelle Tisseyre who was doing research for a novel, published in 2008 as Avant Guernica. Both Jack and Goldie are thanked in her novel:
