Aref plays Anil Bagchi, a 26-year-old timid and extremely scared - albeit honest - Hindu boy, in the backdrop of the Bangladeshi pre-independence war (1971). The Film is based on his journey from the capital city (where he works at an insurance company) to his village home to rescue his older sister from the invading army.
