The South African National Taxi Council in the Western Cape has lauded the government's efforts to ramp up vaccinations among taxi drivers and commuters. The province's health authorities have taken their vaccination outreach programme to taxi ranks, where drivers, commuters and hawkers have been encouraged to vaccinate. The province has administered some
2,4 million shots to date, but says it's concerned about the low uptake among males.
