NOTE: Pre-Cook Your Potato Cubes before beginning. Boil the cubed potatoes until they are soft or if you’re needing to make the potato borek quickly, use 2 cans of potatoes – No pre-cooking required.
POTATO BOREK INGREDIENTS:
BOREK FILLING:
1 Medium Sized Onion Chopped
2 Cups Spinach
2 Cups cubed potatoes
1 Tbsp Kirmizi Biber (Sweet Red Pepper)
1 ½ tsp Salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Red Pepper (Optional)
BOREK:
1 Package Phyllo Dough
½ Cup milk
¼ Cup Oil
2 egg Yolks
Roasted Sesame Seeds
