Life is broken into seasons (Gen 8v22)
"Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him." Psalms 105v19
"Teacher is always silent during the test! The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian." Genesis 39v2
