Probably the best way to explore the Canarian coast is by the Ocean. Going for a sailboat or for a smaller motorboat is a great choice.
The atmosphere is much more familiar, the captain is there with you all the way and you have a contact with the others also. It is far better than doing the trip with 100 plus travellers on a boat.
Usually, the sailing boats are for 10-12 people so if there is a group it can be rented out.
The tours take approximately 3 hours and can be organized in a way to be enjoyable for everyone.
For the small boats is very easy to sail close to the whales and dolphins and also is much more fun when goes to a remote bay.
But of course, this depends on everyone's preference and choice.
