FNIRSI DSO-TC3 does not test Germanium Transistor for hfe and or Leakage.
I have tried multiple Transistors new and old. It does seem to give hfe for most Silicon types.
I tried many Germaniun transistors and it reads the Same for all of them. It reads Germanium Transistors as Dual Diodes only. This is very Disappointing as the older TC1 does give hfe and leakage for Germanium Transistors.
Also, I did perform the Calibration before testing. I shorted the three legs 1,2,3 and removed them when instructed.
