United moved up to ninth in the Premier League standings with Sunday's result against the Toffees, putting them just six points behind second-placed Arsenal.

Arsenal are on 25 points after Saturday’s 5-2 away win at West Ham, nine points off leaders Liverpool, and are looking to record a fourth straight win against United.

Arteta has won six of nine Premier League meetings with United since taking charge of Arsenal in 2019, but did lose the last time he faced Amorim, via a penalty shootout at the Emirates Stadium in the quarter-finals of the a 2023 Europa League.
