One piece of fanart.
I saw *one* piece of Pirate Shiver fanart, and *finally* got the inspiration to do these lyrics. Thank god.
Also, I wanted to work the word "Matelotage" in here somewhere, but figured that if I had to look up how to pronounce it, it was a bit too much trouble. You guys get "mateys", instead.
Speaking of which, "Matelotage" was a form of "economic partnership" between two pirates, where they each got a share of the treasure and would even fight alongside each other sometimes!
(I'm not saying they were gay, but *I dunno man that sounds pretty gay to me*)
Had a lotta fun working in smaller details, too, like references to Frye and Shiver's introductions and preferred weapons (Frye prefers Splatanas, while Shiver prefers Stringers)! I also have *story ideas* now, of Pirate Shiver, Siren Frye, and First Mate Big Man, so... might pull out a writing doc, later.
I hope you all enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it!
As always, keep in mind this is an interpretation of the lyrics. I made them based on what sounded good when I sang it. They're not really meant to sound like Inkling or Octoling.
