Step 1: Launch the Mi Fitness app on the phone that is paired to your Redmi Watch 5 and navigate to the "Device" tab. Ensure your Redmi Watch 5 is selected. This is in case you have more than one device set up there.

Step 2: Tap on the "Manage Band Displays" option. Here, you should see two categories.

The "Online" category is for downloading more watch faces. The "Local" category houses all the pre-installed watch faces and the watch faces you have already downloaded to your device.

Step 3: Make sure you're on the Online category, from where you should see the "Custom" option in the top categories. Tap on it to open, then choose the template you'd like to use in conjunction with your photo watch face.

Step 4: Once you tap on the template, you can tap on "Apply" to download the template to your watch face first. Alternatively, you can simply select the "Custom Photo" option to proceed.

Step 5: Select the photo gallery and choose the photo that you'd like to use as your watch face background.

Step 6: Once you select a photo, you can customize its appearance. You may need to adjust its size and position to ensure it fits the watch's screen perfectly.

You can also choose the different styles to use in the bottom of the page, as you preview them in real time. Experiment with different adjustments until you're satisfied with the result, then tap on "Continue".

Step 7: You should now be taken back to the page where you'll be able to preview your custom photo watch face on the home screen and on Always On Display.

Step 8: If you like how it looks, tap on "Apply" to update your watch face on the Redmi Watch 5. The custom photo watch face will now appear on your watch.
