FROGMORE STEW

Here's what you will need for the recipe:

*2 medium onions, quarter from stem to root

*4 large garlic cloves smashed or you could use garlic in the jar

*1/2 cup seafood seasoning such as Old Bay seafood Seasoning

*3 Tablespoons Zatarain's crab seasoning

*Salt and Pepper

*One lemon, halved, plus two more cut into wedges

*2 pound small red potatoes... Do not use white potatoes with this recipe.

*2 pounds kielbasa sausage cut into 16 pieces

*8 ears corn, hushed and halved crosswise

*2 pounds unpeeled shrimp, Note: (((Peeled shrimps if you're serving kids)))

*2 sticks of butter melted... You can use this for dipping your potatoes, corn, and shrimp.

Here are the instructions for making the Frogmore Stew:

Pour 3 quarts of water in a large pot. Add your onions, garlic, seafood seasoning, Zatarain's crab seasoning, salt and pepper to taste and squeeze the juice from each lemon half and add the lemons to your pot. Now bring the pot to a boil over medium-high heat.

When your pot has come to a rolling boil, add your potatoes and sausages and return the pot to a rolling boil. Cover the pot with a lid or you could use aluminum foil, reduce the Heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender... cook for about 20 minutes.

When the 20 minutes is up add your corn, increase the heat to medium-high and cook with the pot covered until the corn is tender for about five minutes longer.

After the five minutes is up add your shrimp and let them Steam covered for about 3 minutes.

Turn off the heat and gently stir the shrimp into the hot broth and let it stand covered until they are cooked for about two minutes longer.

Now you are ready to Chow Down on some Frogmore Stew... You can serve this with your melted butter and with lemon wedges also.
