Proses pembuatan bibit kelapa sawit unggul AA Hibrid IS

AAR's breeding programme has its origin dating back more than 40 years. Since the beginning, AAR planting materials has always been known for its Dumpy characteristic that was derived from the well-known Pisifera E206 sub-population. Between 1986 and 2006, AAR has been producing AA DxP planting materials which derived from selected Deli Dura x Dumpy AVROS Pisifera. Through the years, further breeding, selection and improvement made on AAR's breeding programme had resulted in the creation of the AA Hybrida IS. AA Hybrida IS utilized the semi-clonal seed approach derived from selected clonal Deli Dura and crossed with the Dumpy Yangambi AVROS Pisifera. Even though AA Hybrida IS involved the exploitation of another well-known Pisifera sub-population, JL 21055 (Yangambi), it still retained the Dumpy characteristics and yields 22% more oil than our previous AA DxP planting material.
