iMITSeminars.com instructors teach various upper cervical manipulation techniques which target C0-1 and C1-2. Various cervical spine manipulations are taught in both seated and supine positions.
Our two-day courses are supplemented with six 30-minute online modules strategically developed to maximize skill acquisition during the live class. The in-person course is 90% hands-on. Participants will learn essential motor skills to safely incorporate evidence-informed manipulation techniques for the spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral) and major junctional zones (upper cervical, cervicothoracic, thoracolumbar, lumbosacral) or extremity manipulation immediately into clinical practice.
Coursework can be taken in any order and will include a review of updated clinical practice guidelines to support clinical reasoning and comprehensive neurological and red flag screening.
Segmental assessment, manipulative treatments, follow-up neuromuscular re-education, HEP prescription, loading, and non-thrust alternatives, are also demonstrated.
