In 2009 HRH The Duchess of Cornwall Patron of the Wilts & Berks Canal Trust officially opened Double Bridge Reybridge near Lacock. Following the ceremony, where the Duchess met many of the Trust volunteers, a reception was held at Bowood House by kind permission of Lord Lansdowne for Partners and supporters of the project.
