The small town in Switzerland known for its preserved medieval architecture, is located among the snow-capped mountains near Lake Lucerne. Its colorful Altstadt (Old Town) is bordered to the north by a 14th century wall called Museggmauer (Musegg Wall). The Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge), built in 1333, connects an Aldstadt to the right bank of the Reuss River.
