Oh look, releasing two playthroughs of the same game, I'll do a playthrough of the beta next year.

I'm not sure if Australia is really into Christmas, but for some reason the original genesis version (What you're currently viewing.) was an australia only release developed by Funcom (a Norwegian based studio) with the source code based off We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story. The SNES version (I done a playthrough of that one too [ Ссылка ] ) had only one person doing the programming but it got released in Australia and Europe. There is sure some interesting stuff that was found in the SNES version like a segment of Dave Barry's hate for Christmas songs.

Asides from that fun release/development info, this is quite a warm and fuzzy platformer. It's not too challengeing but not too easy, you could say it's just right. With the SNES version having less resolution this leads to levels having leaps of faith, shorter Krampus/Anti-Santa time and the golem enemy is missing, but it's worth it for the nicer music compared to the Genesis version. Both versions are quite solid for a platformer on your casual days but I'll stick with the Genesis version over the SNES version anyday.
