Early on in Suikoden you can run into Marco in Rockland to the East of your hometown of Gregminster, and play a shell game. Fortunately with a little bit outside the box thinking you can get a quick tens of thousands of bits early on to get you started. First save at the Rockland in, reset the game and reload the save. Speak to Marco and play the Shell Game for 100 bits, record the pattern for as long as you can be bothered. Reload your save file again, and bet the highest amount you can, and the game will follow the same pattern on the higher prize amount!

There's a much better way of earning money in Suikoden later on, but a quick 50,000 Early on will make a big difference. If you want to see a snapshot of how you get max money, here's the link
