A tour of my Michael Storer designed Beth sailing canoe, One-2-3. I completed building it in late 2022, and launched it on 1st January 2023, hence the name. The hull is to the designer's plans, however the rig is custom, utilising a Matt Layden inspired furling boom.
Beth's specifications are:
Length – 15’6″ (4.73m)
Beam – 32″ (0.81m)
Weight – 70lbs (32kg) – Gaboon (Okoume) Ply
Sail Area – 85 sq ft (7.9 sq metres), however my boat (One-2-3) has a mainsail area of 78 sq ft (7.2 sq metres).
