This project is a must for your E9X! Especially with how easy and inexpensive it is. It completely changes the handling of your build.
This is how I upgraded my handling of my E90 significantly! The steering is much better than it used to be and all I had to do was swap out bushings. This took no more than a couple of hours and I didn't have to pay some "scalper."
I upgraded my perfectly good control arms to be on par with E9x M3 control arms FOR LESS THAN THE COST OF USED CONTROL ARMS!
The truth is, I'd rather not pay the same amount on a used product for something that's used. ALL used control arms I found at the time had well over 150K miles on them and were involved in accidents. It's not a risk I wanted to take with my build.
