Learning Objectives:
Educate participants on the etiology, pathogenesis, history, and sequelae and complications of some musculoskeletal infections that affect pediatric patients.
Discuss various diagnostic methods, such as advanced imaging, physical examination, and/or laboratory tests, to diagnose musculoskeletal infections in pediatric patients.
Discuss various treatment options, including the use of antibiotics, bone aspirations, and/or surgery, to treat musculoskeletal infections in pediatric patients.
