Welcome to my build series for R2D2

In this series I hope to print a full sized R2D2 using modern technology such as a 3D printer, electronics and anything else I can find.

This will be my journey from idea to finished project. Will it work? I really dont know, but Ill give it a good go.

The general idea is that each week we will print off and/or prepare a few bits and spend a small amount of money just like a regular part work.

I get mine from 3D Filaprint. Its cheap enough with a high enough quality and with each purchase of their own brand filament they even send out a free 10M sample of any colur of your choice
