Following on from the two videos covering the testing/stripdown of the Warn contactor (solenoid), in this video we strip & inspect the 12v DC motor on a Warn ProVantage 4500-s winch. This winch was reported as failed by the owner & they sent it in for diagnosis. So...let's take a look & see why this, almost new, winch failed....
The techniques shown in this video will apply to the vast majority of small to medium size winches made by WARN & other vehicle type winch manufacturers.
