Hello Everyone! Welcome to my channel. In this video, I unbox the Academy 1/72 PBY-5A Catalina flying boat. This kit comes with the marking for a "Black Cat" PBY. "Black Cat" squadrons operated around New Guinea and other islands in the Pacific. They performed night patrols and rescue operations. Equipped with radar and bombs, the Black Cats wreaked havoc on Japanese shipping and Naval ships. The Cats were also armed with four Browning machine guns.
