Today I will show you how to create a tone mask in ON1 Photo RAW 2021. This is an advanced masking tutorial in ON1 Photo Raw. This tone mask will help you identify your Highlights, Shadows and Midtones in your images with ease. If you have ever wondered how to see which parts of your image are being affected by the midtone slider, this is a really good technique to learn. This should work in older versions of ON1 Photo Raw as well. This is an easy tone masking tutorial in ON1 Photo Raw that anyone can follow along with.
This is an ON1 Tutorial, but I think this can be applied to any program that allows you to apply a mask based on the tones in the image.
