Two EDGETEQ S-810 Edgebanders + LOOPTEQ C-700 Part Return
When implementing production lines, HOMAG aspires to combine variant diversity and batch size 1 production with outstanding economy. For this HOMAG has developed basic concepts.
This basic concept is based on two EDGETEQ S-810 edge banding machines that work perfectly with the workpiece circulation system LOOPTEQ C-700 in terms of size, performance and speed to form an automated edge banding cell.
powerTouch controls the cell, visualizes the workpieces in circulation and calculates the optimal workpiece gaps, too.
The single-sided machines offer extreme application flexibility. They work independently of width, they are characterized by automated (unit) adjustments as well as by the automatic servo edge feed of 96 different edges.
Extreme precision and state-of-the-art technology are characteristics of the HOMAG units, e. g. compact double hogger, joint trimming unit, gluing unit, snipping unit, rough trimming unit, multi trimming unit, profile trimming unit, multi scraper, finish processing unit, pneumatic chip breaking device and the standard trimming units for grooving with variable groove width, trimming and profiling.
The workpiece infeed system feeds the workpieces at a precise angle and with continuous movement to the edge banding machine – for formatting to measure and angle by the sizing units.
Due to the special positioning of the transport system, the crossed circulation and the two changeover portals of the LOOPTEQ C-700 the space requirement for the cell is optimized.
