The Bowron Lakes circuit is a unique chain of lakes located approximately 28 kilometers Northeast of Wells, BC. The circuit is comprised of 11 lakes and 7 portages totalling a 116 kilometer circuit. Throughout the circuit there are numerous campsites which include bear cashes, benches, fire-rings and tent pads; some camp sites even have cabins with cast-iron stoves. All in all, the journey takes you through some of the most beautiful landscape that BC has to offer ranging from snow capped mountain tops, moose infested marshlands and lush green forest. This trip would be a must do for anyone venturing to the interior of beautiful British Columbia.
