US academic (and TED speaker) Brené Brown said “stories are just data with a soul”. Chris looks at different kinds of storytelling and shows how ‘big data’ can tell stories and change lives. He uses examples such as Jaywick, an Essex seaside town which has been shown to be the most deprived area in England – a status which can help it attract investment.
