Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar was arrested by Delhi Police on May 23, after absconding for almost 20 days in a murder case. The champion wrestler allegedly killed 23-year-old peer Sagar Dhankar after a brawl at Delhi's Chhatrasal Stadium. The incident occurred on May 4. Sushil was sent to 6-day police custody by a Delhi court. The wrestler is independent India's only double Olympic medallist in an individual event.
