In this weeks Let's Chat video, I speak about the importance of Up selling and down selling. When someone comes across your website and makes a purchase, what steps have you currently got in place to encourage them to buy more? This is your upsell strategy and you should have one in place if you want to increase your overall profitability.
Upselling is normally quite well known but often what gets under spoken about is downselling. A downsell is when someone comes across either your product or your service and they decide that it is too expensive for them and you then offer them a cheaper solution. Instead of losing the customer completely, you still make a sale.
