Located just 10 minutes outside of Ubud is Goa Gajah, an important Hindu archaeological site. It is locally known as the Elephant Cave because of its close proximity to the Elephant River. The entrance to Goa Gajah looks like a demonic mouth where people believe they are entering an underworld as they walk inside through the darkness. Other than the religious and archaeological significance, the real draw of Goa Gajah is the beautiful surroundings. The Elephant Cave only takes a few minutes to explore, however, the stone steps that lead down to gardens and waterfalls await, and in this video we show you a little bit of what it is like 😃
