Is a Pelvic scan required after miscarriage?
Although 95 to 97% of the pregnancies in the first trimester do not require D&C, sometimes when the baby grows over 10-11 weeks, then the chances of the baby’s structures remaining in the cavity is high.
Although it is important to take the pelvic scan after an abortion, it depends on the patient’s health and if the gynecologist suggests it.
Make sure to not miss any scan your gynaecologist suggests you to take. For more information, watch the full video.
