I, the Lord, will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream. (Num. 12:6)

The Bible says: In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; then he openeth the ears of men and sealeth their instruction. (Job 33:15, 16)

The words of the ancient proverb are true—”Night (sleep) brings counsel.” The key to its practical application can be developed through your psychic awareness.

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way (Man. 2:12).

The Bible is replete with accounts of dreams, visions, revelations, and warnings occurring during sleep. When you are asleep, your subconscious mind is very much awake and continuously active, as it never sleeps. You will recall that Joseph correctly interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh and that they subsequently came to pass. His success in forecasting the future brought him prestige, honor and recognition by the king.

When you are dreaming, your conscious mind is suspended, and asleep. Your subconscious mind usually speaks in symbolic form, and this is why down through the ages men have employed dream expositors or interpreters.
