Welcome to day 90 of #the100dayproject and today we are taking you on a rather beautiful hike through the Lousios Gorge in Greece. One particular highlight on this hike is the chance to visit the St John the Baptist Monastery which is built into the rock face. Pretty spectacular.

We are the Cookes, Nicola, and Nigel. We love to travel. In 2018 we bought and converted a VW Transporter van and spent 3 years traveling around the UK and Ireland. At the time we also travelled with our beloved cat, Guinness. She was 20. Sadly we lost Guinness in Feb of 2020 and then well the rest of the world went to pot.
After a few 3 month trips to northern Spain and France, In early 2023 we sold our property back in Ireland and hit the road full time. For the remainder of 2023 we explored Spain, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
2024 we will be exploring Greece, Slovenia, Italy and The Alps ...
This channel will primarily focus on our travels, with the odd smattering of photography and food thrown in for good measure.
