The Houffa Trail in Houffalize, was my first ultra run by -9 degrees Celsius. It took my 8,5 hours to complete the 65 kilometers through the snow and over the frozen trails. During the race I had to solve a lot of problems, that can easily be avoided; like frozen water and gels. With the help of these 5 tips, you'll be better prepared for your winter trail run.
