The army of the aggressor state received a new batch of BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles.
This is the third batch of BMP-3 transferred as a part of the state defense order, and produced at the Russian enterprise Kurganmashzavod in 2023.
This plant is part of the Russian corporation Rostec, which announced the transfer of new military equipment. In Q1 2023, the Kurganmashzavod enterprise delivered as many infantry fighting vehicles as in the whole of 2019, according to Russian media. The photo released by the press service of the Russian enterprise showed several dozen BMP-3 sent by rail. Infantry fighting vehicles passed all necessary tests at the training ground of the defense enterprise. The supplied vehicles are equipped with additional protection – mounted armored screens and cage armor.
The report notes that today, Kurganmashzavod is working in an enhanced mode. Workers work six days a week for 12 hours. Some sections of the enterprise have a 24-hour work schedule. The Russian army received a preliminary batch of BMP-3 in April 2023, then several dozen combat vehicles were transferred.
