This week on Dostie's View Craig talks about pre-season Telemark binding maintenance. Whether you are using a 75mm or NTN Telemark binding it is important to look over your bindings prior to heading to the mountains. This is something not only great to do pre-season, but during the season as well.
Key Items to Check:
Always check that all of your mounting screws to the ski are solid, not loose, and free of rot or rust.
75mm Telemark bindings:
1. Cartridges are moving freely and are well greased
2. No fraying of cables or bent hardwires
3. All other binding components are in good working order
NTN Telemark bindings:
1. Springs are working properly
2. Tech toe NTN bindings are stored in the closed position
3. All other binding components are in good working order
