Hello #Borneanz! It's time for another trip report!
As per my previous trip report, I was on a year-end trip in Indonesia with my parents and wife. We did a trans-Java trip, starting from Jakarta all the way to Surabaya. We ended our trip in Denpasar, Bali.
Since we're flying from Surabaya, this was a domestic flight, and will depart from Terminal 1. This was my first time to fly on a Lion Group aircraft (yes I know, I've never travelled on Malindo/Batik Air Malaysia), and also my first time travelling on the B737-900ER variant.
The overall experience flying on JT was okay, but I noticed (perhaps I've forgotten) that the cabin crew did not offer any BoB service, or any ancillary services. I've also observed that the crew didn't make much rounds over this 1-hour flight.
The interior of this aircraft was also dirty, and very worn out - signs of heavy use. I do hope they can regularly clean the aircraft. An old aircraft is fine, but a dirty aircraft would deter people from flying with them again. However, any flight that we can walk out of is a good flight.
