This video got way longer than I intended. There are a few videos already out there on the Ecoflow Delta Pro but very few on the Smart Home Panel they offer and why you might want to get one. The smart home panel allows you to weave your delta pro(s) into your household daily energy production in a sophisticated and cost saving way. Even if you didn't have any solar input but had a "time-of-use" meter that charged variable rates, you could use the Smart Home Panel to charge your delta pro at night when rates are low and then use the Delta Pro to power your circuits during the day/afternoon when rates are usually highest. Its a form of electrical arbitrage. :)
But to get the most out of the setup, you'll want to include solar input to your delta pros and use the smart home panel to integrate them into your circuits. The smart home panel is a valuable (although expensive) method of giving you the granular control you want over when and how to use battery power on your household circuits.
There's definitely limitations and mild irritants along the way but the smart home panel is worthy of consideration if you're thinking about going down the road of whole house backup using solar generators.
