You’ve got your speaking gig coming up and you’re trying to prepare for it. The nerves start kicking in. You might be wondering how you could at least look confident so that your audience has faith in you.

Well, if you want to be more confident on stage or on camera, I’ve got 5 great tips which you can start using straight away. I’ll run through them quickly here but you should watch the video to get a full understanding:

1. Use peripheral vision
2. Know your content
3. Are you going to use rhetorical questions?
4. Smile while you speak, sometimes
5. Breathe and punctuate
