Fairly recently I got to play Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch which was an experience I look very mixed back on. It had its fair shares of issue but its great atmosphere and artstyle provided by Studio Ghibli and its very interesting and fascinating combat system did garnered this game a special place in my heart. It also left me with the wish for more and thankfully that is where Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom comes in.

I did know going in to this game that my favourite and most interesting element of the prequel got completely changed and it was unfortunate to learn that Studio Ghibli was not involved with the game either. Which of course is a shame cus I want to see the elements I really liked to be developed further yet.. its also kinda interesting. Not only am I curious to see what Level-5 does with Ni no kuni on their own. But this game is not based and designed as a remake/port of a DS game. giving room to new and other possibilities that might bring change for better…. Or worse.
