Gibbons Whistler’s partnership with Ski Heaven began in the Fall of 2015. We were part of the Whistler Centre for Sustainability’s social venture challenge where we helped judge promising social entrepreneurs who are trying to make a difference in Whistler. That’s where we met Ski Heaven, an awesome local company with the concept of taking old ski/snowboard gear and making it into cool art and furniture.
We saw an opportunity to commission a throne made of skis and snowboards for an upcoming event at Garfinkel’s called Rave of Thrones with DJ and Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn (read the full blog post here: [ Ссылка ]). Our Ski Throne now permanently lives at Garfinkel’s for anyone to sit in.
