Ever wondered how you cross the border from Thailand into Laos? I had no clue it could be so cheap and easy until somebody told me about the train journey; I left Bangkok and got an overnight sleeper train to Laos, a 10 hour trip which cost only £20 (second class). From there, crossing the border was hassle-free and I arrived in Vientiane (the capital city of Laos) early the next morning with a full-night sleep and a smile on my face. Overall, a fantastic journey and experience.
