Hi guys, how's it going, Bridget here for CLevverMusic. Well the Black Eyed Peas have decided to pull out of the Michael Jackson tribute concert scheduled for this weekend. The show takes place Saturday October 8th in Wales, and organizers have just announced the Peas have withdrawn due to quote "unavoidable circumstances."
Christina Aguilera, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Leona Lewis and Cee Lo Green are on the bill for the tribute show, which Global Live Events promises will be a fantastic evening. They said in a statement quote, "It is with regret that we announce the removal of Black Eyed Peas from the Michael Forever bill, but I look forward to a great night with other earth shattering artists."
Now no word on what the Peas real reason is for pulling out of the show so late, and we have to wonder if it has to do with how much controversy this show has been met with. In addition, the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray has become extremely dramatic in recent days with the release of Michael's audio recordings, so it could very well be connected.
