Apologies for the clickbait-y title... again!
Welcome to my new Quad Cortex Video! In this video I'll be going through a couple of presets that are built into the Quad Cortex and a couple which are freely available for you to download!
The crazy part of this is not only do they sound pretty darn good, but there is usually a couple of Scenes built into each preset and they usually create a whole new sound for that preset! now if my math is correct, that's 8 presets with potentially 8 sounds (Scenes) each, spread across 32 banks... that's 2048 sounds that comes with the Quad Cortex already! You can save up to, I believe, 5 different "setlists"... so that's over 10,000 different sounds at the touch of a foot switch!
That's great and all, but if you're on the fence, would you want to spend that much to get 10,000 mediocre sounds??? hmmm.... What if you just got the QC and are interested in what it can create? Maybe you've had one for a while and haven't used these presets???
Just so we're clear; I am in no way affiliated with Neural DSP, Quad Cortex, Headrush, Marshall, any of the pedal companies mentioned, or any of the guitar companies mentioned. I'm just a guitarist that likes sharing information!
my rig today was my guitars, the QC, my Headrush FRFR108 and GarageBand. There was no "after effects" crazy studio equipment etc. just me, the QC and my guitars!
