Anarchism is often considered to be a form of socialism. Many early anarchists such as Proudhon, Bakunin, and Kropotkin all advocate the abolition of the state and its replacement with more communal, less competitive, forms of social organization. However, not all anarchists are socialists. Over the last 50 years, a new brand of anarchism has gained increasing traction: anarcho-capitalism.
