Alaska Zoo polar bears Cranbeary and Kova were introduced nose-to-nose on Friday, April 26, 2024. Both female bears are enjoying each other‘s company after a period of separation following Kova’s arrival from the wild in November 2022. After her quarantine and adjustment to life at the zoo, she was ready to meet her new playmate, Cranbeary. Video by Zookeeper Lori.
