HOW TO REPOT A ROOT BOUND ORCHID So this orchid was a gift from one of my patients. She has had it for 5 years and has NEVER repotted her. Well, her roots are amazing, as you will see...and ROOT BOUND is definitely in order for this one. Her root ball was so tight in the pot that I had to cut the pot just to get her out! And then the task of getting the media out ...well that is another story.
